Lee Gil Woo

Lee Gil Woo was born in Korea in 1967.  Lee graduated from Chung-Ang University (Korea)with his M.F.A. He has exhibited in Beijing, Seoul, and Madrid. In 2000, Lee won the Grand Prize of the 12th Eastern Asia Art Competition, and received special nomination of the 19th Korean Art Fair.

With traditional printing skills, Woo emphasizes the natural texture of silk and layers of Korean paper to create stunning, spotted portraits.
