Maria Laura Ribeiro

b. 1975

Maria Ribeiro was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1975 and is currently based in South Florida.

As the daughter of an artist Ribeiro grew up in her mother’s studio, which helped inspire the creative style she has today. Through the use of mixed media, she focuses her subject matter on Pop Art and fashion with the hope of keeping historical icons relevant. Ribeiro’s work is included in the collection of fashion icon Iris Apfel.
